Publisher Description

This is the second book in the series about the life of Anthony Pecyk during the World War II Years. Graduated from Pilot Training, Lieutenant Pecyk is assigned to the crew of LT Wallace Ward Malley where he begins his ninety days of Combat Crew Training at Dyersburg Army Air Field. However, shortly after arriving, the Crew experiences a devastating B-17 training crash where LT Pecyk is seriously injured, delaying his and the Crew’s June 1,1944 entry into the war. After convalescing, LT Pecyk heals enough to be reactivated where he is then assigned to another Combat Crew lead by LT David E. Wood. LT Pecyk completes his ninety day Combat Crew Training with the Wood Crew. In October 1944, they receive their orders for a departure to the European Theater of Operations. The author has provided audio selections as well as video to aide the reader in entering the years of 1943-1944 and World War II.

Very interesting read

Particularly interesting to me since I had flight training myself. What a debt we owe to these brave men and women!
