Publisher Description

The inspiration for the poem “Tesla ‘’ came from the life of one of the greatest scientists of all times, Nikola Tesla.

He was born in 1856 in a Serbian family, in the small village Smiljani in Austro- Hungary, to the father Milutin, who
was the Serbian Orthodox priest, and mother Djuka, who was a housewife with a talent for inventions.

As a little boy, Tesla indeed had a cat and was wondering about his cat’s bristling tail and shiny eyes, and was showing
scientific curiosity even at that time.

The rest is history since Tesla is known to the whole world, and his great mind is actually being recognized now
more than ever in the past.

The “Alphabet” poem was written as my contribution to education. If a little cat can “spell” even one “word,” why
shouldn’t kids start learning how to spell from an early age, and who would be better to help than the beautiful
tomcat Lucky?

The “Idea” poem actually came from the fact that all great things and inventions come from great ideas; therefore,
an idea has always been a vanguard to all inventions that have led to the modern time we live in.

Without great ideas and brave people who would put them to work, there would be no progress, and life as we
know it wouldn’t exist for many of us.

But how do we use all the modern technology today? That is an idea for another poem.
