Luz Sees the Light

An award-winning eco-focused graphic novel series gets an update and a new look! Power outages are increasing, and gas prices are soaring. For 12-year-old Luz, this means she now has to walk to the mall instead of getting a drive! Ugh. It doesn’t take long, though, for Luz to realize there are worse problems in her neighborhood. So, she decides to help. With food prices also rising, Luz comes up with a plan to transform a run-down lot into a garden where her neighbors can grow fruits and vegetables. Only, her friends aren’t interested in helping. Can Luz do this alone? Luz is an inspiration for climate action - one neighborhood at a time!
