MADMEN

In her fictional short story “Madmen” Lucy Corin envisions an America where children who reach adolescence choose the madman who will accompany them into adulthood. In the preface, Lucy explains how her approach to this story relates to her sister Emily’s coping with bipolar disorder. Accompanied with this short story are Emily’s drawings which deal with her experiences with psychiatry, delusions, psychoses and depression.
