Publisher Description
Self-confirmed spinster Miss Anne Deighton wants to match her younger sister to a gentleman and see her happily married before settling into her fate… for her own previous two engagements failed.
Quiet Reginald Marleigh, Viscount Ingleby, has come to the Wiltshire countryside to attend May Day festivities… and to turn his attention to the responsibilities of his title.
Yet during the four days of the country festival, there are all too many opportunities for mischief and stolen kisses… and perhaps reckless danger. If the two of them let themselves, they'll see there is magic in Mayflowers, and it might just encourage love to bloom.

Simply Delightful
Sandra Sookoo brings a delightful sweet tale of mismatched matchmaking.
The characters were delightful. Poor Anne, her last two fiancé’s died and she has resigned yourself to never finding love and happiness for herself. But fate and Reggie have other ideas. Sometimes we can’t see the forest for the trees.
This is a sweet well written story that’s wonderfully visual and beautifully told.
Thank you so much Ms. Sookoo for this delightful romance and love story.
Pushing Love Away
I didn’t like how Anne keep trying to push her sister Beth and the viscount together even though they had no interest in each other and Beth was falling for his friend Drew. Even though he didn’t have a title Drew was a successful businessman and a great catch for a squire’s daughter. But Anne was blinded by elitist views about titles and couldn’t see that. Reg liked Anne’s stubborn forthrightness if not her inability to see that she was the sister he was attracted to. Anne saw herself as bad luck and past hope at her age after he last two fiances died and maybe she thought she wasn’t worthy of being loved romantically anymore. I loved her precocious little sister Lily. I thought it was interesting that Reg was fascinated by tea and traveled the world to study different kinds.
May Flowers
Anne Deighton has had very unfortunate luck with love. Reginald Marleigh, Viscount Ingleby, has been away for years traveling the world for the East India Tea Company. This is their happy holiday story. The May Festival brings fun and friendship to the village. It gives Reg a second chance to belong, Anne another chance to find true love, and sets the stage for more than one happily ever after. This is a feel-good read. I enjoyed recommend it.
