Magic is the Mask

Christine is a witch, the last in a long line who heal through songborn spells.      

Orphaned and stripped of her magic after an attack by a dark fey, she sings in the chorus at the Paris Opera House. Desperate to reclaim what was stolen, she risks one final spell... and fails. But something unexpected responds. 

Erik is a dark fey, born human but cursed to exist as a masked phantom of the shadows. His only hope of regaining his humanity lies in a forgotten spell, one only a witch like Christine can sing. He offers her a bargain: he will restore her magic, and in return, she will give him back his humanity. 

As their fates entwine beneath the opera's glittering halls, desires and danger blur—and the price of magic may be far more than either of them is willing to pay.
