I love intelligent romance!
I can’t say much without leaving unintended spoilers, but I really love the community vibe, the intelligent romance (not pages and pages of angsty feelings,) two people working through their feelings but doing so while living a involved life! Can’t wait to read the rest of this series!
Loved it!
I loved Make You Mine Book 1 of The Walker Family. Jack embarrassed himself when he first met Maddie, and then a second time when he had to beg her to take the job he should have given her in the first place. He wants her and she wants him but he is her boss. They have to resist even if they don’t want to. Throw in some drama and suspense, and you have a great storyline. I loved the characters and learning about all the family members. They need to save the family business and see if they can have a relationship. I would definitely recommend this book and I, looking forward to reading about the rest of the Walker “kids”.

Make You Mine is book 1 in the Walkers of River’s Edge by Nan Reinhardt and a great start to this series. 4.5 stars
Jackson “Jack” Walker has taken over as the CEO of the family business which is struggling because of the economic impact of. He needs a new construction crew supervisor but when Madeline Ross comes for the interview, he is struck speechless…beauty, brains, bold and the best but the attraction is to strong so he hires someone else, which they fire. Now he needs to be humble and recruit Maddie to take the job…what happens next is…proving your self in a man’s world, strong chemistry, office romance off limits, family, new friends and so much more! Can’t wait to see who is next…Cam, Joe or Anna.
