Just ok
The first book was riveting and kept you on your toes. This one was just ok. It didn’t have the suspense or feeling of fear that the first one did and it was weird how Dev spent a good portion of the beginning of the book overlooking key signs of vampires because she didn’t want to believe what she already knew, when most would catch on to the signs right away. The first book could have been a movie, while the second book was just a decent book.
