This book is the ultimate resource to understanding pattern design. Instructions are well illustrated such that there are no gaps in the visual interpretation of the flat pattern manipulation required to accomplish a design result. I enjoy perusing the book to pick out style illustrations and seeing the pattern manipulations required to get the drape or style lines in the finished product. I never understood how to correctly manipulate darts properly to replace with tucks or gatherers. This will forever be my constant sewing companion!
