Really wish I could get this in print or in some other form. Being a poor college student, I can't afford and iPad, but I would love to be able to read this.
Best American Oboe Reed Making
I’ve bought many of the standard oboe reed making books for American scrape reeds. I think this one is the best. The instructions along with illustrations were particularly clear but not so detailed as to get distracting or too focused on one element of reed making. If you follow the instructions, you’d end up with a playable reed.
Great book
Dr. King's book is great! If you follow her instructions closely, your very first completed reed will be playable. I was amazed. The videos are clear and her instructions are detailed. If you are a beginning reed maker, Dr. King's book is a very good guide.
