The voice of authenticity
I absolutely loved this poetry book from beginning to end. Small snippets of melanated stories of us brown girls. The writer has laid out her content in a way that is so fluid and eloquently written. The words truly take you on a journey from childhood to womanhood. Real, authentic and honest!!
