Mallinson-Montague v. Pocrnick

This is a timely direct appeal from the defendant/appellants conviction for kidnapping for sexual gratification, contact, exploitation, and assault in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1201. Because the defendants prior criminal history made him a career offender under the federal sentencing guidelines, the district court sentenced him to life imprisonment. We have jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1291.
