From USA Today best-selling author Vanessa Vale, a small-town billionaire romance with a hot-as-puck hockey hero and a wannabe romance writer.
I’m looking for Mr. Right. Date after blind date, they’re all duds. None of them meet the requirements on my Man List.
Until Dex James.
My brain? It says he’s all kinds of wrong.
He’s young. In town on vacation. A lazy billionaire.
He’d only be a fling. A muse for the spicy book I’m writing. Nothing more.
My body? It’s telling me to jump that big piece of man candy. Check off guy-given O’s from the list with Mr. Right Now.
Which is right? Maybe neither. Maybe my heart has to decide because it turns out Dex is so much more than I ever imagined. Maybe Mr. Right Now could be Mr. Right after all.
Find out who wins in this steamy small town, reverse age gap game of love. With all the books in the On A Manhunt series, it’s open season on men.
A*R*C for honest review with no compensation Received from Valentine PR
Man Candy is book 2 in On a Manhunt series by Vanessa Vale and another James brother bits the dust.
Dex James and Lindy Beckett, we met in book 1 where he falls for her but from the get go she thinks he is to young for her. Dex is determined to show Lindy that he is all in and not just Mr. Right Now.
Will these two get together for a fast game of lust or can they take it all the way to a championship? Only time, patience, understanding, sexy times, perseverance and more will tell the story. Can’t wait for the next James brother…Theo’s book!
Extra yummy goodness
So hot, so sweet, so adorable and oh so sexy! I think that’s a full range of adjectives to describe Dex James, who I absolutely adored, if you couldn’t tell. It isn’t often I love insta-love or the just one bed trope…they need to be outstanding and special. Well, Vanessa Vale made me eat my words, because Man Candy was all that and more.
Throw in the age-gap…not using the word reverse but yes, Lindy is slightly older than Dex…which is my go-to these days, and the unexpected desire to go all in right away by this hockey superstar gave me more to love. Lindy is super uptight but I loved her. Her spunkiest shined through the more time she spent with Dex, and let her guard down.
I’m going to let the story speak for itself, but all my gushing is yelling for you to go read this book! I’m guessing you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.
