A Must Read
I've been a pastor since 1989 and I've read and studied more than 100 financial books, both Christian and otherwise, and hands down Alcorn's book is the best. It is so good I bought 1,200 copies and gave them out FREE of charge to every person who came to our church during a recent message series on finances. Most books on the subject just deal with debt, savings and balancing your budget. Alcorn addresses these subjects well, but he goes far beyond them to write what some may consider the most well-rounded work on the subject. Our nation is in critical financial shape and nothing will change unless individuals completely change the way they think about money and possessions. Alcorn gives you the Biblical foundation to begin transforming your heart and mind in regard to money and possessions. This book is unique in this regard.
