Picnic indeed
So we have three art students, Victoria, Ferdy, and Gene who are deciding on what to display for an art project. Victoria wants to entice the crowd to wonder because these days they do nothing at all. So she decides to do a living version of Manet’s Picnic which is a painting of two men in clothes and one naked woman having a picnic. Little did I know we would go back and forth from present to past and revisit Manet himself creating the actual painting. We get an insight into what might have happened in that studio as he was painting and we get an insight into a living tableau with Victoria and her friends. Both settings get you hot and bothered and make you wonder what really did happen in that studio with Manet.
