Publisher Description

TRAGIC is over and Rook is ready for the future--Spencer Shrike and the STURGIS contract!

It's three months of body art modeling! That means three months of Spencer Shrike's paintbrush all over her body, three months in front of Antoine's camera, and three months of twenty-four-hour filming for Spencer's Biker Channel reality show.

Wait a minute... what reality show? Maybe she should've read that STURGIS contract a little closer? ;)

Sure, Rook's bank account is overflowing, but Ronin is angry, Clare is trying to escape rehab, Antoine is a worried mess, and Elise is just trying to hold everyone together. Rook's new family is about to fall apart before she even gets the chance to enjoy it.

Great Series

Rook and Ronin series, book 2, is a great fun read. Characters are engaging, settings and
events are unusual but feel true.

The summary of the book is already confusing. The book starts off with the assumption that readers read the first book in the series. The book gives no background or context to readers who just picked up the second book in the 8 book series.

Most horrible heroine ever

Book 1 was just BEARABLE because the heroine was made to be homeless and went through a whole lot of abuse SO technically she's supposed to be a little cynical which is fine but she was ALL too good for them when all they tried to do was help her? And then she had to whine and act like a fricking whiny 5 year old girl who couldn't appreciate the good things that were handed to her. Unappreciative, spoiled as in she wanted choices when she's not even up to par, still complained when she was given things/job/place to stay/food. OMG the list goes on. And then she went and signed a contract without going through anything after feeling compromised with the first one??WHO does that. Unrealistic and most annoying heroine ever. I could not even get pass 2nd book. It was a pain to get through the first one!
