Fantastic Start to a New Series
Fantastic start to a new series featuring wolf shifters. The characters are well-developed and run the gambit of emotions in this tale filled with both action and romance. Raymand is the Alpha of the pack and knows that sometimes that means he's got to be tough and gruff. When Cora's parents are killed by hunters she ends up living with the alpha. Maple is looking for a fresh start and quickly finds herself right in the middle of the action. She has an immediate love for Cora and a fierce protectiveness and determination to do whatever is necessary to keep her safe. I loved the friction between Maple and Raymand as their alpha-mess clashes. Raymand may be the Bad Alpha Dad, but watch out for the momma wolf when you mess with her cub!
