I am so excited after reading this book I read it straight through with my hair standing straight up and anticipation coursing through my veins at the idea of how this story would end. Only it left hungry for MORE. I want to know how this series progresses. I want to know if all the brother find love. Does Darren continue his relationship with Kieran and Shayne or does he find solace with another. And what happens to Ian? And I am definitely checking out other titles that this other has written. To say I couldn’t put this book down is an understatement. I was nervous at first about not liking this book and it’s content because of some of the reviews I had read from other but I tell you now this is one book you have to read and decide for yourself. Just like they say you can’t judge a book by its cover well this book proves you can’t judge a book by another review either. Happy Reading! ;)
Unapologetically Erotic
To be honest, I began reading this book because I read a bad review. The reviewer only gave it one star, and they said that it was too hardcore and explicit. Which actually irritated me, it’s an erotic romance and the title is “Marks on My Skin”… Did you think it was gonna be sunshine, roses and stolen kisses in the garden?! It’s completely unfair to leave a poor review because you don’t like the genre. This book fearlessly navigates the complexities of passion, desire and self-discovery, blending evocative language with explicit scenes that propel the narrative. Howell skillfully crafts characters who not only engage in sensual encounters but also grapple with their own vulnerabilities. The characters aren't just about getting busy; they've got their own messy feelings to deal with! The explicit nature of the novel adds an unapologetic layer to the storytelling. If you're up for a steamy rollercoaster ride into the more taboo side of literature, “Marks On My Skin” is your book!
