1. The Court of Appeals did not err in applying the child support guidelines in Minn. Stat. ? 518.551, subd. 5 (1984), to child support modification proceedings; however, a remand to the trial court is necessary for proof that the trial court considered the needs of the children and the unreasonableness and unfairness of the original decree given the changed circumstances of the parties.
