A heartwarming tale of terror in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.
Meet Sarah and David.
Once upon a time they met and fell in love. But now they're on the verge of divorce and going to couples' counseling. On a routine trip to their counselor, they notice a few odd things - the lack of cars on the highway, the missing security guard, and the fact that their counselor, Dr. Kelly, is ripping out her previous client's throat.
Meet the Zombies.
Now, Sarah and David are fighting for survival in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. But, just because there are zombies, doesn't mean your other problems go away. If the zombies don't eat their brains, they might just kill each other.
In Petersen's cute debut, a zombie apocalypse turns out to be the best thing for a crumbling marriage. Bickering Seattle suburbanites David and Sarah are startled to discover their marriage counselor eating another couple. After making it home safely, they decide to head to David's sister's house in Longview. Along the way, they encounter the walking dead at nearly every turn and apply their extensive knowledge of zombie movies to fighting them. Naturally, battling zombies brings them together in a way their therapist and assorted books never could. There's a point of diminishing returns the zombie attacks eventually blur together and an encounter with a cult in a casino feels a little forced and while the book is short enough to not overstay its welcome, the joke may not be sustainable through the planned sequels.

loved it, funny, relatable, great story, impossible to put down.
Loved this story!
This is such a great story. The author did a perfect job of mixing utter gore and lots of humor. I couldn't stop reading it. I just hope her others are just as good.
Loved this book
I would like to think that this couple would be my hubby and I if ever their was a real zombie apocalypse... Funny, sexual chemistry, love to kill something and for good reason. Their personalities were made for each other, post apocalypse only. LOL I could not put it down, and am going to upload the next book as soon as I get done writing this review :) 5 stars :)
