Publisher Description
Champion barrel-racer Tegan Ash has nothing left to go home to in her native Australia and every reason to stay in the USA. But her visa is about to expire, and her prospective groom has called off their green-card wedding.
Jamie MacCreadie doesn’t actually want to marry a woman he can't stand, but his best friend and fellow rodeo rider Chet has just let her down and, somehow, he finds himself offering to do the deed instead.
There’s no chance it could turn into the real thing, because they have nothing in common… do they?

Natural misperceptions
Jamie and Tegan had the natural relationship of a heavy dose of attitude towards each other that left a lot of misperceptions of their true character. Even Tegan's fiancé that gilts her at the alter has some perception that is different than he lets people believe. Once, Tegan and Jamie are thrown together life natural happens. Very nice read, picked it up and was finished before I realized it.
Loving this rodeo series
When I think of Rodeo’s, I think of cowboys and who can resist a cowboy? The way they swagger and fill out those wranglers…….sigh. Marry Me, Cowboy is Book 2 of The Copper Mountain Rodeo Series and is by the fabulous Lilian Darcy. Lilian Darcy is able to pack a whole lot of story in this novella. This is Jamie and Tegan’s story and Darcy does a fantastic job of giving us their back stories without making them wordy or forced, and their back stories are definitely important to understand who Jamie and Tegan are how they came to the rodeo life.
Tegan is Australian and needs a green card to stay in the US and her friend Chet has offered to marry her, but backs out at the last minute; he is battling his own demons and has very valid reasons for not going through with the wedding. On a whim their other rodeo buddy Jamie, offers to marry Tegan. Tegan declines because she and Jamie hate each other or so they think. But there is a fine line between love and hate……..
Darcy does a nice job of describing the rodeo and the rodeo life; I felt like I was right there with them and found myself cheering them on in their events and in their relationship.
I am loving this series written by some of my favorite authors and I can’t wait for book 3 out in October by C.J. Carmichael’s Promise Me, Cowboy followed by Jane Porter’s Take Me, Cowboy, and it all started with Megan Crane’s Tempt Me, Cowboy.
Marry Me, Cowboy is delightful
Lilian Darcy’s MARRY ME, COWBOY (Copper Mountain Rodeo book 2) is a wonderful and enjoyable story set in the fictional town of Marietta, Montana. Tegan is spunky and Jamie is a man of few words, but has a large heart. The chemistry between the two is palpable. This series makes a girl want to run to Marietta and find her own cowboy!! I look forward to the rest of the books in this series.
