Being a free edition of the novel, this book does not have an overly appealing aesthetic, but do not let that disinterest you! Jack London is an exceptional writer with a very realistic style, having written of subjects he knows very well.
I read this book some time ago, and I am pleased to say that I am reading it once again. My memories of this book are all very positive; I had a lot of trouble putting it down. I was very eager to finish it, to know what became of Martin and his love, but at the same time, I hated knowing that I would eventually finish the book. This book is by far my favorite by London.
