Mason's Cure

Mason Court has just been honorable discharged from the Marines, but for Mason this was a tragedy. All his life all he's ever known is service to others in some form or fashion. Upon coming home Mason had absolutely no hope of life until he woke up on a strange woman's couch sick as a dog. Winter Smith. She was a beauty he'd never seen and he swore she was an angel. Meeting her at his lowest point in life was not ideal but the way she took care of him made him hope for something different. Someone who would care for him instead.

Winter Smith moved to Valet, Colorado a little less than a year ago. Running from a life she no longer could deal with she was floored when she met Mason Court in a drunken stupor. After offering to take care of him the connection between them was instant. Mason's broken spirit was not one she could run away from which only illuminated the irony of her situation.
