"This story is about more than second chances and chasing your dreams; it's about finding your best friend and love and what you're willing to do to fight for it all."- Review
When Knox Callahan, that cocky player, gave his number to a waitress on our first date, I did what every self-respecting girl would do: walked out with another man.
And yet, here I am now, in a bar, with everything I've worked so hard for falling apart, and he's the one taking my hand and rescuing me like some damsel in distress. Which I'm not. I'm definitely not. But I'm not letting go.
You've certainly heard of me: Gemma Sinclair, a young and beautiful Broadway star, up-and-coming fame, super-fast rise to success…
But now, thanks to my addict deadbeat ex, I'm basically homeless, and in danger of losing all I worked hard for.
Or I was, until Knox offered me a home – a real home, not just a place to stay – and support.
He's not the man he used to be. Oh, he's still sexy and hot as hell – sexier than ever, if I'm being honest – but he's a veteran soccer player now, not a player when it comes to women.
I'm not the girl I used to be, either.
But after everything that's happened, and with our lives constantly changing, is there a chance for us?
A great read
Wow! I loved this book and this series! It was a great read! I've had this book on my tbr shelf for a while and should've read it a long time ago. I'm so glad I took the time to read it. Now I'm really looking forward to reading Tyler and Scarlet’s story.
I couldn’t stop reading! Loved the characters and story line. Love the balance between her side and his side.
