Romance with depth.
Surprising Great Book!
Damaged goods get transformed into a terrific Husband through which he had to come to grips with what love really means not what he learned from his father.
Woe is me
I could not finish this book. The “Hero” (Cal) is so friggin whiny and petulant that he actually makes you hope that his world permanently falls apart.
The way the author structures her dialogue makes you wonder what the hell the characters are talking about. Kind of gives the impression that the author is trying to dazzle with “writing brilliance “ but comes across more as a student trying to impress the English Literature Professor at the local community college.
