Publisher Description
They are the Bad Boys of Brazos Bend—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John Callahan.
Strong, independent Torie Bradshaw doesn’t like playing the damsel in distress, but when a stalker’s sadistic threats finally frighten her into running, she knows of only one hero to call on for help: Matt Callahan. The sinfully sexy spy had saved her once before. Surely he’ll play her champion again. If only they hadn’t parted under such…unfortunate circumstances.
Matt has barely recovered from the last time he tangled with Torie. When she invades his private sanctuary bringing danger, drama, and a designer dog with her, he wants nothing more than to send the beauty packing. He’s busy battling old ghosts and more recent wounds. But Matt can’t deny his protective instincts or the fact that this troublesome woman has gotten under his skin. So when a killer comes to call, Matt faces a startling reality—he’s about to lose all the things he never thought he wanted.

A real page turner!
'Matt: The Callahan Brothers (Brazos Bend Book 2) by Emily March is a page turner! WOW! This is the story of Matt 'Demon' Callahan and Victoria 'Torie' Bradshaw. This story is full of passion, drama, action, suspense, romance, and humor. I loved this story! Emily March has written another great story. I can't wait to see what happens next with the Callahan Brothers in Mark's story! I'll never think of James Bond the same way again! Highly recommend this series as well as Emily's other work to all fans of romance.
A must read
Emily March has written another great story. The first page caught my attention and I couldn’t stop until the last. I find that when Emily March develops her characters she creates unique personalities that create great emotional connection with the reader.
The heroine Torie is brave, funny, smart, feisty, and misunderstood. The hero, Matt is strong, stubborn, and courageous. The story starts off with Tories running for her life, you feel her fear and determination, and you find yourself hoping for a miracle. Entering the wished for miracle, Matt, who is returning a favor he owes to her father, but it is not to rescue Torie, but her sister.
These characters, as well as others, are well blended together in this storyline. I found myself liking the personalities of all the characters, but I found a soft spot for Les and Gigi. They added spice to the story. You have a rescue, gunshot, stalker and mistaken identity, love and frustration. You will be gripping the edge of your seat one moment and giggling the next. This story will introduce you to a suspense, love and dramatic descriptions that will entertain you from the first page to the very last, it will leaving you waiting for the next.
Stalker at large
Settle in with this thrill ride of an adventure that has non-stop action throughout. From Soledad Island off the coast of South America to Los Angeles and the rolling hills of Brazos Bend, Texas, someone is out to stalk and kill Torie Bradshaw, daughter of a general and twin sister to Helen. Matt Callahan chooses to help her out, along with his brothers Luke and Mark. Torie and Matt’s interactions are explosive and wild. Their feisty bantering causes fireworks between them when they touch. Matt, aka “Double-oh-Jerkface,” “Mr. Smooth,” and “Mr. Silent-and-Sort-of-Snotty” and Torie, aka “That Damned Woman,” “The Evil Twin,” “Bimbo,” “Fluff-headed bimbo,” “Fluff-headed, picture-taking bimbo,” and “Shutterbug” equals excitement. There is murder. There are gun shots, broken bones, explosions, and thrilling boat rides. This stalker is relentless and will stop at nothing to get Torie or anyone else in her path. With the Torie’s photographic Paparazzi skills and Matt’s CIA experience, both are equally relentless in ridding of this maniac. I definitely recommend this book, will backtrack to read Luke’s story, and look forward to Mark’s adventures.
