Dr. Zachary Smith ,

Unnecessary comment by the author

I was looking for a good discussion of the Gospel of Matthew. And I thought this audiobook might be it.

But then while discussing Mary, the author decided to take a quite unnecessary dig at Catholics. It stopped me from going forward. I am NOT Catholic. Nevertheless, I was appalled. This book is supposed to be about Matthew, and not about Catholic misperceptions. That dig soured my opinion of the entire book. Does the author have some sort of ax to grind?

I did hesitate about writing this review. And I did hesitate about giving a low rating. But I decided to go ahead. Hopefully, the author will consider my objection and remove that unnecessary anti-Catholic comment.
