Maurice's Valises, Moral Tails in an Immoral World, is a series of imagination and adventure for kids of all ages.  Maurice's Valises gives a fresh meaning to the idea of exploring the world. Drawing from classical moral teachings from around the world, these adventure stories provide clear ethical rules of the road for children to follow without being preachy or overbearing.  In the Beginning is the first of the series of ten books, which introduces Maurice, the aged mouse, along with his many grandchildren.  It tells the story of how Maurice came to possess the Moral Scrolls and recounts the first of his many adventures in life, wherein he learned the morals he now shares with his grandchildren - and our children as well.
