I wanted to love them ..
Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed with this entire series except with Mac’s story. It didn’t give enough of who he is. He fell really short and Cady was just an awful person and kind of self fish. To many sex scene and many part left out. I was hoping more of John, like all her previous books, the former lead characters will be in the book. He vanished and wasn’t in there. Where is Abby?! I want Ran’s story to be epic, please give us an exciting finale to this wonderful journey.

This is well written I love it. It was so hard to put down. Please don’t make us wait until December to read Ransom story I don’t think I can wait that long.
Bored
I honestly love this series, but this book fell short. Maverick doesn’t have much of a personality and Cady is so meek. It was just a boring read.
And, super disappointed that the lead into Ransom’s story is with some podunk from his past. I was SO hoping he would land a strong professional from the new business life the guys have built. Underwhelmed with this one.
