May it please the court
I liked the main character and his team. I thought the party, the family dynamics, accident and subsequent fallout were more interesting than the legal issues. I did think that the ending was pretty satisfying and wrapped up nicely.
I could have done without the side story of the girlfriend as it didn’t really go anywhere? Maybe that’s addressed in the next book?
A little bit too legalese and technical for the common man imo. Would be interested to know what people in the justice system thought about that part. But on the whole I did enjoy the read.
Very well written
Great crime and law procedures with many twists and turns. I was mesmerized by the main characters and their secrets/lies/deceit.
Engaging
If you enjoy legal thrillers, you must add Daniel Maldonado to your list of authors to read. I loved the interweaving of Puerto Rico culture, food, and family dynamics into the story. Fun read with unexpected turns.
