No such thing as love...
Eddy and Henrik don’t believe in love. At least, that’s what they keep telling themselves. They’ve been burned in the past, and neither wants to be that vulnerable again.
A summer fling...
That’s all it was ever supposed to be. So why can’t they stop thinking about one another?
And for Eddy—who’s moving back to America in a few weeks—the worst thing that could happen would be to fall in love with the one man who could make her question her decision.
Out of his comfort zone…
Henrik never counted on trusting love again. He’s put all his energy into his career. So why does the thought of Eddy leaving Europe for good make him want to do everything in his power to make her want to stay…?

Edwina!!
Edwina is a heroine many can relate to. Needing a break or giving up on relationships when the right one comes along but at the wrong time it seems. I love how the author shows the thought process of a person hurt and hesitant to move forward . I will be looking forward to Kim Golden's next book! 😉
Sexy and steam, wonderful and remarkable.
Five shiny stars.
This was a remarkable story about two people who have had their fair share of being in relationships that left them feeling betrayed and disillusioned about ever being committed to anyone.
Henrik the handsome quiet guy was totally attracted to Edwina who was confident and outgoing. They were nervous and apprehensive about getting too caught up in their desire for each other but couldn't ignore the sparks and after a hot summer affair, decided to keep things neutral and stay friend. The couple still had a lot to figure out when the attraction was still so strong, all they could do was think about each other. What made it harder was that they lived on different sides of the world.
You could see the thought and focus that went into writing and making this a beautifully structured story. Which made for a smooth steady reading. The couple had an unmistakable connection and the chemistry was so intense it oozes of the pages. It was sexy, steamy and filled with angst. Overall a wonderful read that I would recommend. Great job Kim.
Good Read
This was my first time reading this author. I enjoyed the book. If a reader is looking for a quick read that has the characters jumping into bed immediately, and basically staying there, this isn't the book for them. If a reader wants developed, nuanced characters and a more lengthy story, they should read this book. Reading it felt like peeking into the lives of two friends. Watching them, knowing they are good people and wanting them to find happiness together. It also didn't hurt that their chemistry was great, the intimacy was hot and the sexual tension was real. I recommend this book. I will definitely look into other stories from this author.
