Great, wacky adventure. Loved it!
I'd give 5 stars to all of Lawrence Block's 8 books about Evan Tanner. Evan Tanner is a lovable, daft con man who rescues people and overcomes many death defying situations in each novel. Evan never cons people out of money, just favors to help him in his rescue journeys. All the books are easy and fun reads, you'll laugh out loud. Its impossible to put any book down because you can't leave dear Evan in danger, and you just have to see how he manages to pull himself and those he rescues out of multiple impossible situations. If you liked the 60's, you'll love the entire series. Read 1 and you'll buy the other 7.
