Didactic fiction written by a father for his son concerning the proper way to live one's life. Some of it is drawn from the work of Leo Strauss particularly the dilemma of man in choosing between obedient love and free inquiry as the guiding force in one's life.What is unique about this yarn is the contention that the meek referred to in the sermon on the mount are the enlightened.
