Five years ago I entered my seventh year of teaching as a traditional teacher. I saw my primary role as one who would give students knowledge. Something magical happened that year as I came to understand that my role as an educator was not to give students knowledge, but rather to give students freedom, freedom to create. In order to do that, first I had to transform from a traditional teacher into a contemporary creator. I wrote this book for all educators: faculty, coaches, administrators, and staff as a guide to explain how they can make this transformation too and become a CREATOR.
