SUMMARY :

A certain man in Greece, named George Malides, is from Smyrna (Izmir) of Asia Minor. He is a wealthy constructor and now he goes to an old house to investigate it. It is an abandoned building which he intends to demolish the next day. While searching in it he discovers some hidden and forgotten envelops. When he opens them he finds some forgotten letters of a dead lady. He starts to read them and he finds out the terrible secret that this house keeps behind its walls. It is a secret that interests the man a lot! His hidden past from Smyrna is now in front of his eyes, alive again!
