Packs a punch!
As usual, Jody Kaye packs a punch in a short amount of time! I love her short stories, but I’m always wanting more at the same time. Love Anson and Rae Lee as a couple. And my favorite part is the psychic aspect. Sooooo good! It even had me hating the fact someone died because I just felt so bad for the young couple. If you haven’t started this short story series with Anson and Rae Lee, you should!
Steamy, suspenseful read
First thing I want to say is that if you haven’t read Fragments of the Past, I highly recommend you do, so you can read the start of Anson and Rae Lee’s love story. You can still enjoy this book without reading that book, but you’ll have a better understanding of them, if you do read it. Now about amend My Soul. I loved this continuing story about Anson and Rae Lee. Anson has really came around from his initial thoughts about Rae Lee’s psychic abilities and he’s so protective of her, after seeing how they affect her. She decides to work with another agency to try and solve another case. I love that we get to come along and see things through her eyes. I’m not going to leave any spoilers, but I will say if you’re looking for a steamy romance with some suspense thrown in, you won’t be disappointed with this book. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
