Good read
Overall, there are plenty of dramatic scenes in this story, but despite this, it does not rise above a three-point five-star rating. While I have no problem pinning down why this is, I concluded that it comes from I found that some of the scenes could be triggering for others. There was no warning of possible triggers. Some things should be left alone and Daria wants answers and will not stop until she finds the answers she seeks. Mercury has a lot of things he will not discuss about his family and can’t discuss about his military position. I didn’t like that Daria jumped to conclusions without first talking to Mercury about what she overheard. I understood Mercury’s need to be in my opinion high-handed with Daria. She would make decisions and knew Mercury would not approve of and would take issue.
