Merimnae

Two, four, eight... There are more and more here at Physeter Base. The community grows and the four Elders work to shepherd it along. How will the children lead as adults? Eventually their group will burst out of the space in the cavern garden.

Meanwhile, each of the four astronauts pursues their own original goal: exploring the Tau Ceti system, designing new spacecraft, analyzing the geology and history of the planet, looking for signs of life. Some will succeed. Some will uncover clues and puzzles very difficult to solve.

Through all of this they are uncoupled from Sol - unbound from whatever is happening on Earth, Mars, Luna, Titan... Being unbound is a blessing, but how will it end?
