Mice & Other Poems

It is a poetry book. If the mental attitude of any critic has ever, in his approach to a first book of verse, been conciliated by an appreciative notice from some older pen. I see the broken bodies of women and men, Temples of God ruined; I see the claws Of sinister Fate, from the reach of whose feline paws Never are safe the bodies of women and men.
