Will she take a risk to trust and love?
Midnight Blaze is the eighth book in the Dungeon Singles Night series, but could be read as a standalone. When Tessa switches Doms with her bestie, she never expected Cooper to walk in. She avoids him at all costs, but when he wants more than just one night, will she take a risk to trust and love, or will her fears chase him away?
Oh my gosh, this series just keeps getting better and better! I absolutely adored Tessa and Cooper! I loved their passion, their connection, their banter, and all the ways that Cooper made Tessa fall for him! This was not an easy journey for either of them, as they both had some real fears they needed to face, but I loved their journey to love. Tessa is a rule follower, avoids risks at all costs, yet she can’t seem to resist Cooper. She had a lot of changes happen to her all at one time, both with her bakery and with her relationship status, so it was interesting to see her navigate both. Cooper was absolutely swoon-worthy. He might have started off as a bit of a player, but I loved that as soon as he realized his connection to Tessa, he saw no one else and fought hard to win her heart. I loved that he truly saw Tessa, that he worked with what he had (*wink*) to make her addicted to him, and that he never shied away from the hard parts of life with Tessa. I adored them together. I loved the ending of this book! And I’m already super excited for the next book in the series, since we get teased about it, too! So good!!

Cooper and Tessa’s story comes at The Eros Pit where Tessa and her bestie Nora come for singles night and get a marker. Tessa knows Nora wants a scene with Dr. Levi so she tells Nora if she gets Levi she will switch her. In fact she gets him and switches for Cooper who she avoids at all costs. When Cooper n Tessa come together sparks fly and he wants more than one night and proceeds to win her over.

Blazing Hot!
“It was a startling, life-altering revelation…”
Fortunately I use a Fire Tablet for my ebook reader because nothing else could have handled the heat that Tessa and Cooper produced over and over again. Their chemistry blew me away and that isn’t an easy feat as I read a LOT of hot books. I guess the title of the book, Midnight Blaze, should have given me a hint but I wasn’t prepared for the reality of these two together. Of course, neither of them expected it either, especially Tessa, who has been deliberately avoiding Cooper for years. I’m so glad Anya gave us both points of view because until chapter three, Cooper’s first chapter, I had no idea he was as drawn to her as he was. He does the calm, aloof Dom thing very well.
I’m super excited I only have to wait one month to see Nora and Levi as their book and this one basically run parallel in time. This series, the Eros Pit series, is one of the best out there. (Yes, I know that’s not the real name of the series but it should be!) If there is anyone who hasn’t read any of the books in it, just do it. These books are absolutely amazing and Midnight Blaze is my new favorite of the series.
