Okay you guys. I SO have a type, LOL. As soon as I read Savage and Bella’s story I just knew I had to dive in to Scythe’s story next and it totally delivered! On multiple levels. What’s better than a honorable, yet dark male getting his HEA? Swoon.
I’ve said this SO many times but, there is just something so compelling about a dark, broody, intense male that can absolutely fall head over heals in love with this female. Sigh, that’s my type! Hard, stoic on the outside but so sweet, and gentle with his woman. I love stories like this. Chiara was the perfect mate for Scythe. They compliment each other so well!
And when her son, Pietro calls him papa for the first time? I was literally bawling (anything with kiddos and I’m a sobbing mess). The ending was so sweet and that honorable male got the family he deserved. Loved it so much!
Great Story
Another one of Ms Lara Adrian’s storytelling series. This was fast paced and intense with the backdrop of an Italian vineyard. Former Gen one hunter Scythe tasked to bodyguard the owner and widow Chiara and her young son. Scythe is a longer and carries a heavier burden of his past grief and now the awakening of emotions that he feels being near Chiara will be is undone if he can uncover who out to hurt her and her son. Action from start to finish.
