Milo Ryder and the T Bar Ranch

When Milo Ryder seeks to expand his cattle operation, he hears about a ranch for sale in the San Luis Valley called the T Bar Ranch. The ranch is owned by the bank after being raided by a band of Indians who killed the original owner and his family. After Milo decides to buy the ranch, he discovers an outlaw named Ike Evens squatting on the property and running the ranch as if he owns it. Milo will have to force Ike to leave, but what will be the repercussions? Will Ike be satisfied to keep his fight man-to-man with Milo? Or will he target all that Milo holds dear—his wife and his home spread at Purgatoire?

Lowell F. Volk is from Minnesota and now lives in Pleasant View, Colorado. He is retired from General Dynamics and is a former deputy sheriff of Montezuma County, Colorado.
