Publisher Description
"Mind Game" is a mystery thriller in which the reader is kept guessing until the very end. "Mind Game" begins with the discovery of a woman’s body atop one of the most photographed pieces in Minneapolis’ famed Sculpture Garden – the Spoonbridge and Cherry. Before investigators make much progress in that case, two more bodies turn up, each at a different Minneapolis landmark. Are the murders connected or are there copycat killers on the loose? It is up to a team of investigators led by Hank Hankenson to find out.

Another Great Read
I’ve been looking forward to another novel by Bob Rueff, and now we have one. Mind Game is a fast-paced and suspenseful detective story. As in Rueff’s previous novel, Endgame, the exciting lives of Bloomington police detective Commander “Hank” Hankenson and a lively cast of characters make it hard to put the book down. This time, there are murders at some of the most famous Minneapolis cultural sites such as the “Spoon Bridge and Cherry” sculpture and Guthrie Theater. Rueff’s clear descriptions of police procedure, guns, fast cars and lovely ladies make every page fun to read. As a new resident of Minneapolis, the many details about the city and surroundings made the book particularly interesting to me. I enjoyed the book, and felt the ending was just right. I highly recommend Mind Game.
Excellent mystery
Read this while traveling and what a treat it was! A friend gave the book to me, as part of a two-part series, and for a non-mystery reader as I tend to be, I was surprised by the writing and story line. Mind Game is compelling enough to keep my attention, yet very believable enough to make me interested in more. I really enjoyed the MN-based storyline as I'm from MN and loved the characters in Hank and Darcy. Would highly recommend.
