Effective insightful life altering
Fantastic introduction to mindfulness meditation. Written with a sparse poetry and deep insight into calming the racing inner mental monologue. After this I read Kabat-Zinn's other books and they built on these principles.
Well worth the time. May just save your life.

I love the way this book was written: short segments that are easy to retain and practice. In addition, the author knows his stuff. I researched this book before purchasing. The info comes from research at top universities.
On top of everything, it comes w the audio.
Mindfulness for Beginners
Actually, I was going to give it 2 stars, but, felt that the author put forth the effort in good faith. The book could have used some editing. The cryptic sentences and the page-and-a-half write ups are very distracting; and the authors thoughts are not fully developed. It appears like the author was in a hurry to write the book.
