Publisher Description
What happens when the guy who has been fostering my husky while I'm deployed turns out to be the one-night-stand I ghosted before leaving town?
Prior to shipping out for a military assignment, I had the best sex of my life with a guy whose name I never got.
Now I'm home from my six-month deployment and waking up to an angry phone call from a man claiming to have my escape artist of a dog.
Coincidently, he's the guy who took care of her while I was gone.
Imagine my surprise when I walk a couple of blocks and come face to face with the man who rocked my world and starred in my fantasies for the last one hundred and eighty days of my monotonous life.
When I'm in his arms, I feel cherished.
Something about John Vale feels like home.
I knew it the night we met and kicked myself for not exchanging information.
Now, I have a second chance, but after another amazing night together, he ghosts me—much like I did to him six months ago—and I'm left heartbroken.
I fell faster than I should—I know this—but something tells me he's the one.
Can I blame him for putting on the brakes when every time we're near each other we burn hot and move fast?
And if not, how much time do I give him to realize we're perfect for each other?

Enjoyable
A story with emotional angst and believable chemistry which made me root for this couple. The author creatively wrote a relatable story with a bit of hijinks which were enjoyable and entertaining to read.

Swoon Worthy
An ex military man, a dog lover and kind to boot is definitely swoon worthy. Great fast connection with a confident woman who knows how to live life to the fullest and show her worth. Loved the dogs and their fun playfulness and willing to learn. The ending was fun especially with the guys ready to be snipped.

Loved it!
I loved Mine to Cherish Book 1 of Veteran K9 Team. Cher can’t stop thing of him, the guy from a night six months ago. Why did she leave without giving her name and number. Vale woke up looking for her, he didn’t even know her name and six months later he’s still hoping to find her. Imagine when she ends up being the owner of the dog he has been training. The chemistry is there, the feelings and the future but suddenly he’s pulling back. Will the relationship be over before it really begins? This was such a sweet story and I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and I can’t wait fir the next book in the series.
