Miners of Djaromir: Sparx

Schooled by the harshness of Djaromir, Warlord Sparx of Fyeir believes women to be a distraction he can’t—and won’t—allow himself. His focus needs to be on the city he rules and their progress into the future, not on coddling a sensitive human female. As warlord, he’ll do his duty and help match his men to their future brides but has no intent in joining their happily mated ranks. Then, he sees Lucy.

 

One glance at the sweet little female and his fate is sealed—whether he wants it to be or not. Burning with the need to claim his tempting mate, Sparx tries to hold strong but can't resist his powerful attraction to the newly arrived, fragile female. He can only hope the risk is worth it in the end.

Considering the chaos that normally follows her around, she’s holding her breath in hopes that maybe this time will be different.
