In Wilstrom, monsters have teeth worth killing for.

Across a frozen frontier of isolated towns, dangerous roads, strange trades, and supernatural creatures, monster ivory has become a fortune waiting to be cut from the right jaws. Professional hunters have turned the work into an industry. They have specialized weapons, expensive equipment, and a disturbing talent for knowing exactly where the monsters will appear.

Jak Bitters wants little to do with any of it. A drifting swordsman with a taste for whiskey, bad jokes, and trouble, Jak is more interested in surviving the next day than understanding the past he can barely remember.

Nixie has different problems. She is a deadly archer with a buried history, an old prophecy hanging over her life, and very little patience for irresponsible men.

Their first meeting leaves four men dead, a phonograph ruined, and Jak wondering why the woman who tried to kill him suddenly decided to let him live.

Neither intends to become the other's traveling companion.

But strange heirlooms, missing memories, valuable teeth, and increasingly impossible creatures keep pulling them down the same road. And the farther they travel into Wilstrom, the harder one question becomes to ignore:

If monster hunting is a business… who controls the supply?

Mining For Teeth is a darkly funny Weird West fantasy adventure filled with monster hunts, occult mysteries, dangerous frontier towns, black-powder spectacle, and two people who may eventually learn to trust each other—if they can survive each other first.
