Dive right back into the action on Perses in this thrilling sequel to the gritty, space adventure, MiNRS, which School Library Journal called “a solid survival story.”
They are coming to get you.

The children of Perses have been receiving this message on repeat from Earth for weeks. Christopher, Elena, and the other survivors of the attack on their space colony know two things: Their victory over the Landers will be short-lived and a new wave of attacks is imminent.
New Landers arrive sooner than expected. Led by the ruthless Kirk Thatcher, and armed with a new lethal kind of digger, they vow to hunt down and destroy everyone.
The kids have nowhere to go but underground. Again. But resources and patience are running low, and the struggle to keep everyone safe is complicated by all the infighting.
As Christopher bears the burden of leadership, he also has to decide whom he can trust. There are no easy answers. And with deadly consequences on the line, there is no room for mistakes.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Sylvester's (the Neil Flamb series) grim SF adventure is set on Perses, a large planetoid that wandered into the solar system. It posed a threat to Earth until it was maneuvered into a safe orbit by scientist Hans Melming, whose company now has exclusive rights to mine Perses for desperately needed metals, while terraforming its surface to support a colony. Christopher Nichols, the son of one of Melming's mining supervisors, is an enthusiastic supporter of Melming's "Great Mission," but just as Perses enters a month-long communications blackout due to solar interference, the colony is hit by a deadly attack by "Landers," out to steal the mine's ore. With casualties high on the surface, Christopher and a few other children escape deep within the mine. Scarred by PTSD, they attempt to survive the attack and make unsettling discoveries about Perses and the Great Mission. Brainy and somewhat na ve, Christopher makes for a solid, earnest narrator, and the other kids, especially his enthusiastic friend Elena, are similarly believable. An ominous and inconclusive ending points toward future books. Ages 8 12.

Amazing, totally recommend
I love the plot and the characters. I feel as though I'm there and one of them trying to survive. I can't wait for MiNRs 3!
