Oh, Alfie.
Alfie makes one little drunken comment that changes up his life in a four way with Elodie, Jet and Leo.
Rules are so made to be broken.

Alfie’s fake or real relationship(s)
Alfie’s drunken “confession” that he was in a 4-way relationship and would need a plus 3 for a wedding he was asked to usher leads to Alfie asking 2 strangers and his assistant to be his fake lovers. That is what got me to buy this book!! The story is as complicated as you would expect, but the romantic developments soon reveal even more complication. When the date arrives, Leo and Ellie arrive together, while Jet accompanies Alfie. When Jet disappears while Alfie is busy, a surprise revelation sends shock waves through Alfie and his relationship with Jet. Imploding is the best description for the whole fake/real relationship. The resolution/conclusion did surprise me, but it was plausible and satisfying. A long book that will be missed for a few days… Very interesting book.
Problems happen when you say things drunk
Allie gets drunk and says he’s in a relationship but now he needs three dates for his best friends wedding. No problem according to him but it makes for a great time to read about! This was a wonderful storyline and the characters were perfect as they pull you into this great story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
