Mirage

These twelve stories are set at different times in Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia and Bolivia. Characters in these stories often seem to be balancing antagonistic claims or identities. Some of them are struggling to escape from tyranny and prevent its recurrence. In other stories, characters connect for a time through chance meetings or hope for relationships that can work.
